Hazel Wooton Fox, 103, of Lexington, formerly of Providence, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Mayfair Manor Nursing Home in Lexington. She was born on June 28, 1907, to the late Georgiana Parrish Wooton and Americus Young Wooton. She was a former member, Sunday school teacher and pianist at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Providence. She was a schoolteacher for 43 years in the Providence and Nebo school systems.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Janis Fox of Frankfort.
Services are at 11 a.m. today at Melton Funeral Home in Providence, with Brother Billy Neal Parrish officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery in Nebo. Visitation is after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home.
