James H. Murray was a child born to, Green V. Murray, and his wife, Elizabeth [BEELER] Murray. He was born in, New haven, Nelson, KY., 09 April 1852. In Metcalfe County, Kentucky, on, 16 December 1878, he married, Elizabeth "Bettie" Cora Grinstead. She was a child of, Phillip Wade Grinstead, and his wife, Sarah Angelina [JONES] Grinstead. I'm not sure when he came to Nebraska, but I find him in Richardson County, Nebraska, on the 1880 federal census. Together, James H. Murray, and his wife, Elizabeth "Bettie" Cora [GRINSTEAD] Murray, shared three known children. James died in Humboldt, Richardson, NE., 21 March 1894.
