Cash McLaughlin, Jr.
age 86, life-long Belleville and Ypsilanti, area resident, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010 at home. He was born February 15, 1924 in Belleville, MI, son of the late Cash & Myrtle Viola (Clayton) McLaughlin, Sr.

Cash proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in WWII and was in the heart of The Battle of Okinawa in the medical corp. He was a commercial painter who worked at many places including University of Michigan and Willow Run Airport. He was a hard-worker who enjoyed helping other people. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing with his father and son. Cash a Christian man who was extremely devoted to the Church of Christ, Ypsilanti.

Cash is survived by his son Joseph Allen (Deborah) McLaughlin of Belleville, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, also numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Katherine V. (Warden) McLaughlin, a son Michael James McLaughlin, three brothers and a sister; Earl, Mickey, Donald and Isabelle.

Visitation will be 4-8 PM Monday and 1-4 PM & 6-8 PM Tuesday with a 1:00 PM Funeral Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at DAVID C. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, Belleville with Minister Leonard White officiating. Interment will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock, MI.
