RAYMOND J. SEIWELL
Raymond J. Seiwell, 36, of 140 West South street, Nanticoke, former Hazleton area resident, died yesterday morning at 12:30 o'clock at his home following a heart attack.
Born in Sandy Run, the deceased was the son of the late Harry and Helen Siewell, Jeddo, and lived in the Hazleton area most of his life. He moved to Nanticoke one year ago.
A veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict, he served 15 years in the Army and had been in Germany several years. He was a member of Nanticoke Post 350, American Legion, and Nanticoke VFW Post 290. Seiwell aslo was a member of Nanticoke Polish Falcons, Hudson Servicemen's Club and Nanticoke 400 Club.
Surviving are his wife, Jean; five children, Lawrence, David, Linda, Priscilla, and Judy, all of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Kirschner, Nanticoke, and Mrs. Harriet Rodda, Prospect Park.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the funeral home, 614 Hanover street, Nanticoke, with Rev. Jerome H. Leinbach, of Zion Evangelical and Reformed Chruch, Nanticoke, officiating. Interment will be in Nanticoke cemetery. Friends may call tonight from 7 to 10 o'clock and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m.
