Obituary of Mrs. Potter

Sarah Blanche Hecox, was born February 2, 1888, in Allen county, Kansas, and departed this life May 5th, 1927; age 39 years, 3 months and 3 days. She was united in marriage February 23, 1907, to Robert Harney Potter. To this union two children were born, Cora Alneta Compton, and Cecil Marvin Potter.
Sister Potter was united with the Methodist church at Haviland, Kansas, in 1913, and since that time has lived a good life and has been a devoted wife and mother.

She leaves to mourn her loss two children, one grandson, three sisters, three brothers and a host of relatives and friends. The children are Cora Alnieta Compton, of Hugoton, Kansas and Cecil Marvin Potter, of Hooker, Okla. The brothers and sisters are Wava May Dye, of Tyrone, Jay Merl Hecox, both of Tyrone Okla., Ada Lenora Snook, of Drumwright, Okla., Edna Olive Bradford, and Ivan Oral Hecox, Hooker.
