"Mrs. Laverne Strouss, Florida, Succumbs
LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - Mrs. Laverne D. Strouss, 67, N-17 Sunshine Villas, Lehigh Acres, Fla., died Friday at Lehigh Acres General Hospital. She had been ill for some time.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Farley Funeral Home, Lehigh Acres, Fla. Burial will be in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, Fort Myers, Fla. Dr. W. A.
Jacobs, pastor of the Community Congregational Church, will officiate.
Mrs. Strouss was a native of Deer Grove, the daughter of Edison M. and Martha E. Burton Dir. She had been a resident of Lehigh Acres, Fla., for 14 years. She was a member of the Community Congregational Church.
Survivors include her husband, Howard E.; two sisters, Mrs. Orla Hansen, Lehigh Acres, Fla., and Mrs. Arlene Trobaugh, Sterling and two brothers, Howard Dir, Rock Falls
and Lauren Dir, Deer Grove, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren."
