Megan Van Hise-Burgess, 24, of Browns Mills, passed away Friday, June 26, 2009 from complications of Cystic Fibrosis. After graduating from Bordentown Regional High School, she pursued her interests in Art, Tattoo Design, Reading and Writing. In addition to these interests, Megan enjoyed spending her free time with family and friends at the beach. On March 20, 2009 she married Donald Burgess in a private civil service followed by dinner at the Pub in Camden.
Megan is survived by her husband, Donald; her parents, Joann and Carl; her younger sister, Stephanie, and her two dogs, Dobby and Whiskey. Truly, her family, friends, and co-workers are too countless to name, as she touched so many lives. Megan was predeceased by her sister, Jennifer who passed away in May 2007 at the age of 21.
It was Megan's wish that memorial donations be made to the CF Foundation at Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Greater New Jersey Chapter, 117 Kinderkamack Road, Rivers Edge, NJ 08661. Megan also requested that black NOT be worn to either of her servicesFuneral Services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Groveville United Methodist Church in Groveville. Interment will be held Wednesday in Groveville Church Cemetery.
