Frankey, the wife of Samuel Kennedy of Greene and Washington Co. TN was a pioneer wife and mother. She raised a family of 13 children, all born in TN and with her husband and all of her children and their spouses headed for Indiana and Il in 1830. The family first took land in Hancock Co., IN and that is where her husband Samuel died. Left a widow, she and her children removed to Morgan Co., IL. Frankey died in Morgan Co., IL and buried by her eldest son Joseph and her first grandchild, Samuel Eakin.
