OBITUARY- JOHN LUTHER AYLOR

John Luther Aylor, 93, died June 26, 1963 at the Humboldt Hospital. Funeral services were held at the Table Rock Christian Church, Saturday June 29, conducted by the Rev. Ward Merritt of Humboldt and assisted by the Rev. Harvey Richardson, pastor of the Table Rock Christian Church. Burial was made in the Table Rock cemetery.

Mr. Aylor was born April 2, 1870 in Keosauque, Iowa. He was a son of John M. and Martha Eleanor Aylor. At the age of 18 years he moved to Table Rock. In 1892 he was married to Miss Lillie Mae Harman at Pawnee City. Mrs. Aylor died February 21, 1963. Mr. Aylor was engaged in farming until retiring a number of years ago.

Mr. Aylor is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edgar (Mary) Gilbert, Table Rock, and Mrs. Merle (Alma) Cook, Denver, Colo. There are also 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great=great-grandchildren. Mr. Aylor was the last member of his family, four sisters, and three brothers having all preceded him in death.

Pallbearers were Orval Johnson, Harry Wilcox, Will Alderman, Marvin Kent, Howard Herrick and Harold Smith. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Verda Howell, Mrs. Gleora Covault, and Mrs. Lillian Bowen.
