Alma married Wendel Warwick of Hewitt. They had six children: Wayne, Leona, Alan, Jerry, Lloyd, and Earl who died in infancy. Lloyd died February 24, 1952 and Alan died August 26, 1992. Wendel died April 26, 1976 and Alma died February 10, 1984.
Lawrence married Doris Harthan of Deer Creek. They had two sons, Larry and Robert. Lawrence passed away June 16, 1991.
Vernon married Alice Juergens of Verndale. They have five children: Leonard, James, Janet, David and Peter.
Marvin married Joan Skarka of Bluffton. They had five children: Leroy, Connie, Irvin, Joseph and one daughter who died at birth.
Ora Cook passed away February 12, 1958. He is buried in the Oak Valley Cemetery. Several years after her husband's death, Ida sold the farm and moved to Bertha and in 1975 to the Clarissa Manor in Clarissa. In May 1985 she entered the Central Todd County Care Center at Clarissa, where she has resided since. Though she is in a wheel chair she still enjoys reading, playing cards and visiting with relatives and friends. Ida observed her 100th birthday February 8, 1993. Open house was held in her honor. Many relatives and friends came to observe this happy occasion.
