HOLT, Lorine Beckner, 67, of Callaway, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2000. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Fletcher Holt; her father, Andrew Beckner; two brothers, Dennis Beckner and Cecil Beckner. Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Doris H. and Donny Jones of Wirtz, Wanda H. and Jesse Young of Callaway, Sandra H. and Russell Hodges of Callaway; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michel and Diane Holt of Callaway, Randall and Lorelei Holt of Callaway; grandchildren, Sharon J. and Darrell Burks, Kathryn Jones, Jason Young, Leslie and Katelyn Holt, Kyle Hodges; her mother, Alun Beckner of Callaway; sisters and brothers-in-law, Josephine Biggs of Martinsville, Geraldine and Burl Young of Rocky Mount, Bonnie and Ronnie Kingery of Roanoke; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Shirley Beckner of Callaway, Marvin Beckner of Callaway, Alton and Debbie Beckner of Live Oaks, Fla., Mikel Beckner of Wirtz; sisters-in-law, Faye Beckner, Norma Jean Beckner; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Robert Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Monte Vista Church Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, S. Main Street, Rocky Mount, VA.
