Funeral rites for Starr Leek, who died at St Rose hospital Monday, will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday from the Bryant and Fryburger funeral home with the Rev R P Crawford officiating. Burial will be in the Great Bend cemetery.
Leek had been a hospital patient since October and was in ill health for a year.
Survivors are a daughter, Meryl of the home 3102 Broadway, and son Max, of Great Bend, four grandchildren, two sister Mrs Mary Jane Howard of Great Falls, Mont, and Mrs Florence Lorimor of Dodge City.
Leek was a member of the Methodist church and had lived in Great bend 34 years. He was a painting contractor.
