Ashley was a stray kitten taken in by a pet shop. He was a large totally gray Tom Cat with large amber eyes.
I took him home and he quickly took over the house. He travelled all over with me with his sister Miss Blue Eyes.
Ashley was a highly intelligent cat and I still miss him very much.
He found a mouse in the garage one day and presented it to me - right in my hand - while I very much appreciated his skills, the mouse was deposited outside. I don't think Ashley ever forgave me since he never brought me another one.
He was so sweet and beautiful. When the sun hit his fur he looked like a pewter statue.
