Henry County's eleventh death from automobile accidents within four months was recorded last night around 11 o'clock when Mrs. Thelma Adams Campbell, 29-year-old Martinsville resident, was almost instantly killed when struck by an automobile driven by Gaylord Joyce of Fieldale, Va. The victim was walking along Highway 220, between Reed Creek and Bassett Forks when struck by the machine. Joyce, driving south, was blinded by the lights of an oncoming car. Joyce said he did not see the woman until about the time she was struck.

Burial will be made in the cemetery at Spray, N.C.
Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Adams, one sister, Mrs. John Cox, and four brothers, Percy, Luther, Willie and George Adams, all of Martinsville, Va.
