MULBERRY - Mr. Ike Bell Jr. of Mulberry died Friday (Aug. 20, 1999) at Lakeland Hills Center. He was 70.
He was born in Mulberry on Dec. 6, 1928. He was a laborer for a phosphate company. He was a member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, Lynwood Bell, Lakeland; daughters, Cynthia B. Carter, Angela B. Clark, Trellis Strong, all of Lakeland, Ethel Mae Smith, Bartow; sisters, Lillian Baker, Almeda Ford, both of Mulberry, Flora Taylor, Lakeland; brothers, Otis Bell, Mulberry, Sidney Bell, Winter Haven; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Gause Funeral Home, 625 S. Holland Parkway, Bartow. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Mulberry.
