Amanda was the daughter of John "Dock" & Nancy Nicodemus. Her family moved to Maryland. She met & married her husband, Harry J. Keedy (1859 Maryland) & they moved to Martinsburg, West Virginia. She returned to her parents home near Boonsboro, Washington, MD due to her illness. She died there of consumption. Her death obit was in the Hagerstown Newspaper on Sat., 22 Jun 1889. She was 39 years & 7 months when she passed away.
