Pluma was born to Chester B. Chamberlin and Olive Pierce 21 Feb 1850 in New York, USA. She married James Edwin Carr 28 Oct 1865 in Van Buren Co., Michigan.


She and James moved with their sons Floyd E. and William E. and daughter Minnie
Ethel to Bellingham, Whatcom, WA between 1900 and 1910. They had two other
children, Olive and Marvin E. that passed in Michigan before the family moved to
WA.

Pluma and her husband James lived the rest of their life there and are buried
together in Woodlawn Cemetery.
