LEONARD - Juanita Drewry, 87-year-old Leonard resident and formerly of Denison, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010 at her home.
Services will be held at held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2, 2010 at Johnson-Moore Chapel, with grandson Brad Daniels officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Drewry was born on August 17, 1922 in New Boston, daughter of Robert and Etheol McGee Bice and attended Gladewater school. On Oct. 17, 1945, she married Boyd R. Drewry in Denison.
Mrs. Drewry was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Leonard.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jason Mitchusson, Brent Cobb, Joe Dophied, Trevor Thompson, Joe Baughman and Casey Drewry.
Surviving are her son, Don Drewry of Little Elm; daughters, Brenda Johnson and husband, Clyde of Howe, Linda Mitchell and husband, Bart of Sherman, and Karen Thompson and husband, Kevin of Leonard; brothers, George Bice and wife, Sharon of Broken Bow, Okla. and Charles Bice of Golden, Okla.; sister, Ann Inman and husband, Sonny of Benbrook; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1. Condolences may be registered to www.johnsonmoorefuneralhome.net.
