Virginia was born on October 9, 1929 in the town of Meeme, daughter to the late John and Angeline (Binversie) Koenig.
On June 26, 1948 she married Jerome J. Neumeyer at the St. Fidelis Catholic Church of Meeme.
Ginnie was employed for 20 years as a clerk for the Koeppen - Bushman Hardware store in St. Nazianz. She also was employed at the Valders Public School Cafeteria for seven years and was a past President of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Gregory Catholic Church of St. Nazianz.
Survivors include her husband, Jerome Neumeyer, Manitowoc; four daughters and four sons-in-law, Kathleen and Kevin Muellenbach, Sheboygan Falls, Sandra and John Griffin, Manitowoc, Joan and Richard Zielinski, Newton, Pauline and Nick Hall, Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Diana Neumeyer, Port Washington, Mark and Christine Neumeyer, Greenleaf; 13 grandchildren, Brett (Dora Lee) Muellenbach, Keith (Ann) Muellenbach, Matthew (Shelley) Griffin, Debbie (Anders) Bartelson, Dale (Bianca) Griffin, Frank Zielinski, Lori (Josh) Lefel, Adam Hall, Eric Hall, Bill (Jamie) Leifheit, James Neumeyer, Michael Neumeyer, and Jason Neumeyer; two great-grandchildren, Keeara Muellenbach and Masen Griffin; six sisters and four brothers-in-law, Laura Wagner, New Holstein, Anna Mae Stoelb, Sheboygan Falls, Margie and Donald Bonde, Newton, Betty and Roman Bonde, Kiel, LaVerne and Roman Karls, Green Bay, Arlene Schad, Kiel, Francis Scharenbroch, Kiel; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Tom and Marie Koenig, Kiel, Roman and Theresa Koenig, Kiel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Scharenbroch; three brothers and three sisters-in-law, Victor Koenig, Robert Koenig, and Sylvestor Koenig, Margaret, Alice, and Evelyn; three brothers-in-law, Ashley Wagner, Alfred Schad, and Donald Stoelb.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen with burial to take place at at St. Gregory Cemetery in St. Nazianz. The Sheboygan Press
