His remains were initially buried in the Temporary American War Cemetery at Molenhoek, Holland on 22 September 1944, in grave A-5-99. Later his remains were reintered in a permanent grave at the Margraten, U. S. War Cemetery, Netherlands.
Pvt. Colishion had participated in the airborne assaults of Sicily on 9 July 1943, Italy on 13 September 1943, and Normandy on 6 June 1944. His last combat jump occured on 17 September 1944, when the 82nd Airborne participeted in the Airborne Invasion of Holland.
