Dale was born on August 24, 1953 in Port Arthur, Texas to Wilford J. Riu, Jr. and Anna Landry Riu. Dale was a Process Operator for Sun Oil In Nederland and a member of the Agape Christian Fellowship Church in Groves.
Dale was preceded in death by his father Wilford J. Riu, Jr.
Services will be held Friday August 6, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Steve Grohn of Agape Christian Fellowship officiating, assisted by Reverend Jeff Anderson. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday August 5, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Dale is survived by his wife Bonnie Riu of Port Neches; mother Anna Riu of Groves; two sons Caleb Riu of Port Neches and Tim Riu of Nederland; and a host of friends and relatives of Lafayette, Louisiana.
