Lena Dandridge-Sneed

Lena Dandridge-Sneed peacefully answered the Master's call on November 30, 2007, in Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. Her life's journey began on July 17, 1916, the daughter of the late Gertie and Tom Marsh, of James City County, Virginia. At an early age, she gave her life to Christ and became a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Williamsburg. She attended Croaker School. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her, and she left with us a beautiful legacy of wisdom and love.
She leaves to treasure her precious memories her devoted husband, Samuel "Eddie" Sneed; her son, Gregory Braxton (Barbara); her sister, Dorothy West; her brothers, Charles Marsh (Pauline) and Albert Marsh ( Joyce); her sisters-in-law, Denise Williams (Alonzo), Edith Brooks, Peggy Bishop (Wallace) and Carldene Newsome; her grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and many loving and caring friends.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 8, 2007, in Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Wilbert Warren officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 218 Alesa Drive by 1:00 pm on Saturday. Mrs. Dandridge-Sneed may be viewed in the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday.
