Lost to Irish Sea after parachuting from B-24J-1-DT Liberator #42-51232 R4-J 'The Jig's Up' near Valley, Wales. Plane was piloted by Harold Boehn. Plane had returned from operations and poor weather sent it to another base. It was recalled to Cheddington and in flight weather worsened and plane had lost an engine.
