Valia Bollea of Plymouth formerly of Dartmouth and New Bedford, November 19. Beloved daughter of the late Giuseppi and Letizia (Valsoano) Bollea. Sister of Ugo Bollea of Chandler, AZ, aunt of Kathleen Wallace of Plymouth with whom she made her home and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Born in Bourne, MA June 10, 1914, she was educated in the New Bedford schools. She had worked as a Seamstress and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Valia lived in Plymouth for the past 6 years with her sister and nieces family coming from Dartmouth where she lived with her sister Gloria Gonet who died on October 20th of this year. She loved caring for all of her family which was her true vocation throughout her life. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bonaventure Church, State Rd., Manomet. Visiting hours in the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth on Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial in St. Peters Cemetery in Sandwich.
