Staff Sergeant William L. Couts Jr. (S/N 15329164), Company A, 1st Battalion, 123rd Infantry Regiment, 33rd Infantry Division, U.S. Army.

Luzon, Philippines Campaign - The 123rd Infantry landed at Lingayen Gulf on 10 February 1945, and moved to the front lines three days later.

Awards: Bronze Star, Purple Heart

He also has a cenotaph in Evergreen Burial Park, New Philadelphia, Tuscarawas County, Ohio.
