After his retirement, Tom and Babs enjoyed traveling and often vacationed in California and Utah visiting family and friends. There will be many happy memories of holidays, vacations, and summer pool parties. His grandchildren will fondly remember July 4th celebrations with Granddad acting like a big kid shooting off the most fireworks.

He is also survived by his sister Marilyn and husband Richard Webster of Grand Island, NE.
He will be remembered as an intelligent, kind, and generous man with a patient and gentle spirit. He touched the lives of his many friends and was very close to his family.
He minimized his own health concerns and never complained about the challenges involved with taking care of his wife at home during her illness. It broke our hearts to lose him and we will miss him every day. Thomas Lyle Vogt
