Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Eckstrand spent last week at the Frank Newberg homer near College Springs assisting in caring for their aunt, Mrs. Andrew Newberg, who had been very ill at the home of her son, Frank and family. Mrs. Newberg died Friday night. The funeral was held Monday at the Advent Church in Villisca and the burial was made at the Arlington Cemetery by the side of her husband, who preceded her in death several years ago. The little baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Newberg has been seriously ill with pneumonia for the past week but was a little improve on Monday.

Mrs. Alex Newberg, Sr., was buried in the Arlington Cemetery Monday. she formerly lived in this vicinity, but has made her home recently with her son Frank and Family near College Springs.
