Daughter of Frank Long and Mary Patton. She attended grade school in Wyoming, moved to Crab Orchard, Nebraska with her family, and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1949.
She was married to Edward Wright on Dec. 11, 1950, at the Courthouse in Fairbury, Nebraska. They had 11 children.
Grace and Edward lived at Crab Orchard for awhile then moved to Tecumseh, Nebraska in 1953. She worked at Campbell Soup for 19 years, and they then moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where they lived for 10 years. They then moved back to Johnson, Nebraska, in 1991. Grace worked as a cook at Main Street Cafe in Johnson for 5 years before retiring.
She died at her home in Johnson, NE. at the age of 77 years.
