Noah A. Arnold, 73, Fort Wayne, a native of Adams County, died at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz., at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. He was involved in a car-pedestrian accident on April 29.
He was a retired inspector for the Zollner Corp., Fort Wayne and was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ in Fort Wayne.
Born November 30, 1902, Kirkland township, he was the son of Charles and Susanna Johnson-Arnold, and was united in marriage on April 2, 1927, to Florence Evelyn Zimmerman, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Warren, South Whitley, and Lawren, Fort Wayne; another son, Sherman, Ponca City, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Duane (Beverly) Ellenberger, Fort Wayne; and Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Roth, Portland; four brothers, Frank, John, Floyd, and Luther of Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Naomi) Bieberich, Decatur, and Mrs. Lewellyn (Margaret) Stucky of Berne; 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Rev. Marvin W. Deerhake will be in charge of services and burial will be in the Pleasant Dale Cemetery. Further arrangements, however, are incomplete pending on arrival of the family from Phoenix. Winteregg-Linn & Haggard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
