Memorial Mass for Florence Melvyn, 80, of Panhandle will be at 4 p.m. Sunday in St. Lucian´s Chapel in Amarillo.Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home of Amarillo.Mrs. Melvyn died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001.She was born Oct. 6, 1920, in Rockford Village, Minn., and graduated from Rockford Public High School.Survivors include eight daughters, Linda Marsden, Kathy Cates and Margie Heffington, Patricia Yeager , Mary Hagen , Judy Florence and Sarah Stubbs, Susan Kirk , five sons, Dennis, Joe and John, Terry and Tony.; two sisters, Dora Dixon and Sophie Dronek. 31 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.Her husband, Paul Richard; a son, Michael, and a grandchild are deceased.
