Nusbaumer Rites Set For Friday
Funeral services for Alexander J. Nusbaumer, 87, 413 Fourth Street, who died at his home Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St Joseph's church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Ochs funeral home.
Mr. Nusbaumer was the son of John and Elizabeth Warner Nusbaumer, born in Montpelier, Ind.* March 10, 1864. He married Magdaline Johnson of Batesville, Ind., on Nov 20, 1895. They removed to Fremont in September 1905. Mr. Nusbaumer was stationary engineer at the City Ice and Fuel company for many years.
Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Edward Rothgery of Fremont; three grandchildren, a great grandchild, and three sisters, Mrs. Martin Dunlavy and Mrs. Christine Vachon and Miss Eve Nusbaumer, all of Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was preceded in death by a son, the Rev. Girard Nusbaumer of the Franciscan order; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Vachon, who died Monday in New Haven, Ind., Mrs John Hubbard of Fremont, and Mrs. Sherman Helm of Montpelier, and Miss Katherine and Miss Eva Nusbaumer of Montpelier, and two brohers, Frank and Louis of Montpelier.
