Chester, SC – Mrs. Aline Stowe Strait, 100, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 26, 2023.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 11:00 am at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park-Cherry Road. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00-10:45 am at the funeral home.
Mrs. Strait was born on July 23, 1922 in York County, SC to Luther E. Stowe and Catherine Minvera Stowe. She was of the Baptist faith and retired from Lowenstein. She was the widow of Donald T. Strait.
Mrs. Strait survived by her niece, Carolyn Orr (Bill) of Chester; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Doris Hall and Daisy Faile.
