Mrs. Cullum had moved to Maryland two years ago to live with her daughter, Wendy Calder, so she could receive medical care at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland.
Born December 23, 1930 to Lewis Miller and the former Florence Lynch, she was the youngest of three siblings.
A sister, Gertrude Cullum, predeceased her. Her brother, Hiram Miller of Sioux City, Iowa, survives.
Mrs. Cullum graduated from East Hampton High School in 1948. Two years later, she was married to Russell Cullum of East Hampton. The couple were together almost forty-three years, until Mr. Cullum's death in 1992.
Besides her daughter, Mrs. Cullum is survived by three grandchildren.
A service will be held at Cedar Lawn Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on August 29, 2010.
It will be followed by a gathering at the American Legion Post 419 in Amagansett, of which Mrs. Cullum was a member for many years.
