Graves are in section 39, which didn’t support any kind of maintenance. After a few years, area was so overgrown with weeds and berry vines that it was impossible for family members to find or visit graves. In late 1980s, great grandson discovered that the area recently had been cleared. It was possible to find William Sprague’s grave. Though the flat marker was cracked, it was legible (see photos), as was Emma’s next to it.
