Claud McSwain Of Ridgeway Is Killed in Action
Mrs. Belle Milwood, Route No. 2, Ridgeway, received a wire from the war department, notifying her that her son, Pvt Claud D. McSwain was killed in action in defense of his country in the South West Pacific area, December 25. Besides his mother he leaves a brother Lenard McSwain of Ridgeway; Mrs. Elmo Chessey of Missouri; Mrs. Ethel Griffin, Spartanburg, and Mrs. McGll Lovingood, Gaffney.
