Ramona "Mona" St. Romain passed away Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, at the age of 63. A native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Zachary, she leaves behind her loving husband, Wayne St. Romain; daughter, Lauren McGee and husband John; mother, Nelva Aymond; four grandchildren, Tony Thibodeaux, Tristan and Colton Shipley and Faith McGee; great-grandson, AJ Thibodeaux; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Reba Plaisance, Kay Pierre and husband David, and Teena Welborn and husband Ronnie; and sister-in-law, Marsha Lewis and husband Joe. Preceded in death by her father, Reefe Aymond; daughter, Kimberly St. Romain; sister, Gay Calais; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Anthony and Iris St. Romain. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Aug. 17, from 10 a.m. until religious service at noon. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John McGee, Joe Lewis, David Pierre, Tony Thibodeaux, Olen Gary and Russell Rayborn. The family would like to thank everyone at St. Joseph Hospice for the wonderful care. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Joseph Hospice.
