Born in Russia-controlled Poland (probably in Warsaw) in 1879, her name may have been Reabella or some other Hebraic name which is not confirmed at this time. She was the daughter of Jacob Saperman and Rebecca Saperman (later Anglicized to Sapirman). She married Isidor Buchbinder on 1 November 1896. Known as "Bessie," she was the sister of Elias Sapirman and Pauline Sapirman Herschaft. Bessie died of breast cancer in New York on 2 May 1937.
