She was born on Friday, April 23, 1909, in Morenci, Territory of Arizona, a copper mining town, and was the daughtr of Gertrude (Goodrich) Ashton and Joseph W. Ashton.
When she was a few months old the family moved to Glendale, CA, and graduated from Glendale High School in 1928, attended classes at Glendale College.
Luella married Austin I. Teasley, on Monday, May 12, 1930.
Austin was killed in a bicycling accident in 1989.
Mrs. Teasley is survived by her daughter, Joanne (Teasley) Rife, of Morgan Hill, CA, and son, Gerald Teasley, of Hemet, CA, sisters, Caroline Woods, of Kennewick, WA., and Frances Buckner, of Gridley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gertrud (Goodrich) Ashton and Joseph W. Ashton, husband, Austin I. Teasley.
