Aynor…….Tracy Earl Rabon, age 66, went home to be with the Lord Saturday December 12, 2009. Mr. Rabon was born in Conway, and was the son of the late Mose Abraham Rabon and the late Mattie "Polly" Rabon Martin. Mr. Rabon was married to Lila Mae Jordan Rabon on December 30, 1966. From this union survive two children, a son David Earl Rabon and his wife Sandy Johnson Rabon, of Aynor; and a daughter Michelle Rabon Smith and her husband Lloyd McLean Smith, currently of Okinawa Japan; two grandchildren, Katherine Michelle Smith and Jordan Lee Smith. Also surviving are his sister in law Margaret Rabon, wife of the late Grady Rabon of Aynor, two sisters, Betty Rose Hardwick and Mary Ellen (Ragsdale) Allsbrook, of Aynor; three brothers Billy (Duffy) Rabon, of Charleston, Kenneth (Reba) Rabon, of Conway, Charlie Ronald (Linda)Rabon, of Lexington; and a step-brother Nathan (Edna Bell) Martin, Jr. of Aynor. He was predeceased by a stepfather, Oscar Martin; brother, Grady Rabon, special nephew, Rodney Dale Allsbrook; and a father-in-law Allen Carson Jordan. Mr. Rabon retired after 25 years of employment with Pepsi Cola Bottling. He was a lifelong member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday school teacher; treasure and cook for the brotherhood. The family would like to give a special to the staff of Agape Hospice for all their special kindness and support. To his nurses Bonnie Tindall and Joyce Samuels, and to his caregiver, April Ruiz. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Dock Rabon and Rev. Ragsdale Allsbrook officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM Monday, December 14, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Home.
