Services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday at Grandview Funeral Home for Carrie Viola Luett, 87, of 2422 Elizabeth Ave. who died of a stroke Saturday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs, Luett was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. She and her husband, Elmer, had operated Elmer's Record Shop before his death. She was a member of Rising Sun Church of Christ and of Hawkeye Chapter 358, OES.
Survivors include a daughter, Eleanor Young of Des Moines; two sisters, Harriett Hibbs of Des Moines and Viola Halfley of Lincoln, Nebraska, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
