Mrs. Louise A. Conrad, 86, of 2313 Prospect Ave., New Holstein, died Sunday at 3:15 p.m. at the Sheboygan Memorial hospital. Mrs. Conrad had been ill for several years.
She was born December 20, 1880 in the town of Herman, a daughter of Christ and Augusta Braun Hass. On Feb. 16, 1905, she was married to Phillip Conrad of the town of Russell. The couple lived in the town of Russell for 40 years. For the past several months Mrs. Conrad had been making her home in New Holstein.
Her husband preceded her in death on May 30, 1929. A daughter Viola, died in infancy. A brother and sister also died several years ago. Survivors are five sons, Arno, Elkhart Lake; George, Sheboygan, Phillip, Kiel; Oscar and Valentine, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Rudolph (Ester) Dekker, Barton, Wis.; 12 grandchildren and four brothers, Gottlieb, Christ, Carl and William, town of Herman.
Professor Karl Ernst conducted funeral services at St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed church, town of Russell. Burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery.
