b. 8 June 1897, Putnam Co., TN – d. 26 May 1955, Nashville, TN, (Tenn Pvt. 146 Aero Sq WWI), s/o Sidney "Sid" Franklin Carr & Laura Ann Burton.

Funeral services for Albert A. Carr, 58, who died unexpectedly Thursday morning of a heart attack in Nashville, were conducted Friday morning at 10:00 at Whitson Funeral Home with Dr. Bruce Strother officiating. Burial was in the Cookeville City Cemetery.
Mr. Carr was a native of Putnam County.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Alta Campion and Mrs. H. Letcher (Dimple) Grigg, Nashville, and Mrs. Henry Grady (Vada Mai) Maddux, Cookeville; two brothers, Shelton Carr, Nashville, and Joe C. Carr, Nashville, former Secretary of of State.
Mr. Carr was a painter contactor before his retirement about 10 years ago. He had resided at Mountain Home, and came to Nashville about 2 weeks ago. He was a Methodist.

January 1866, TN, 4 children born, 3 children living. Children: Vada M., 7 yrs. old, b. December 1892; Allen A., 2 yrs. old, b. June 1897 & Dimple Carr, 3/12 yrs. old, b. February 1900. All born in TN).

Carr is head of household, 38 yrs. old, Occupation: Registar, Putnam Co., TN, md 17 yrs. to Laura, 45 yrs. old, TN, 6 children born, 5 children living. Children: Vada, 16 yrs. old; Albert, 12 yrs. old; Dimple, 10 yrs. old; Altie, 7 yrs. old & Joe Carr, 3 yrs. old. All born in TN. Also living in the household: John Burton,
boarder, 50 yrs. old, TN).
