Funeral services for Albert A. Carr, 58, who died unexpectedly Thursday morning of a heart attack in Nashville, were conducted Friday morning at 10:00 at Whitson Funeral Home with Dr. Bruce Strother officiating. Burial was in the Cookeville City Cemetery.
Mr. Carr was a native of Putnam County.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Alta Campion and Mrs. H. Letcher (Dimple) Grigg, Nashville, and Mrs. Henry Grady (Vada Mai) Maddux, Cookeville; two brothers, Shelton Carr, Nashville, and Joe C. Carr, Nashville, former Secretary of of State.
Mr. Carr was a painter contactor before his retirement about 10 years ago. He had resided at Mountain Home, and came to Nashville about 2 weeks ago. He was a Methodist.
