Mrs. Diora Provins, 81 of Jellico, died at U.T. Hospital, Knoxville, at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday, October 6.
She was a member of the Boston Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Partin of Lot, Ky., and Mrs. Ann Housley of LaFollette; one son, George Provins of Dayton, Ohio; one step-daughter, Mrs. Bertha Trammell of High Cliff; four brothers, Harvey Trammell of Laurel, Ind., George Trammell of Lot, Ky., Horace Trammell of Dayton, Ohio and Joe Trammell of Powell; six grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 9 at 2 p.m. at Boston Baptist Church by the Rev. Jack Davis and the Rev. Joe Davis. Burial was in Lot Cemetery.
Ellison Funeral Home, Jellico, was in charge of arrangements.
