MULBERRY - Mr. William Bender of Mulberry died of heart failure Monday (March 6, 2006) at Good Shepherd Hospice. He was 53.
He was born in Dade City on May 28, 1953. He was a dragline operator for Agrico. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Mulberry. Mr. Bender is survived by his daughters, Bonika Bender, Tampa; Kimberly Bender, Plant City; sons Chris, Lakeland, Andrea, Plant City; mother Othie Roundtree, Mulberry; sister Valerie Jones, Sanford, Rose Robinson, Mulberry; brothers, Dan Hall, Walter Jones, both of Mulberry, Willie Jones, Lakeland; two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Williams Funeral Home, Bartow. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Church of Jesus.
