The death of Mrs. Mary Isbell Medley on Sunday morning, March 16 at her home in West Cookeville....She was 77 years of age..., a member of the M E Church South.
She is survived by her husband, Sid Medley; three sons, Jim, Fate and Bob Medley, all of Nashville; three daughters, Mrs. Daisy Vaughn of Laural Hill; Mrs. Effie Bradford of Cookeville; and Mrs. Maude Carr of Mississippi; also by one brother, W L Isbell of Cookeville. Two daughters and one son preceeded her to the grave.
The funeral was conducted by Rev Edwards at the home on Monday morning, followed by interment at the City cemetery in the family lot.
