Mrs. Thelma Lisenby Odom, 82, of Barnett Crossroads, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010 in a Crestview, Fla. nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native and life long resident of Escambia County. She was a member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, James Edward (Sherrill) Odom of Brewton and Jackie Bryant (Sandy) Odom of Defuniak Springs, Fla.; three brothers, John M. Lisenby of Mobile, William E. Lisenby of Bay Minette and Orland Lisenby of Brewton; one sister, Helen Windsor of Crestview, Fla.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday morning August 23, at
10:30 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie McGee officiating. Burial followed at New Bethlehem Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
