Mrs. Nellie Logan Barricks Fultz,
101, of 4895 Christy Creek, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010 at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born on April 26, 1909 in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Benjamin Bert Barricks and Molinda Stanley Barricks.
Mrs. Fultz was a homemaker. She was a member of the Regular Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting, crocheting, plastic canvas, reading and working crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Lee Fultz, five sons, Sam Chandler Fultz, Jackie Fultz, Plummer Fultz, Dewey "Bugs" Fultz, Jr. and Johnny Franklin Fultz, Sr., two daughters, Alice Lee Clark and Medie Kidd, three brothers, Charlie Barricks, Russell Barricks and Henry Barricks and seven sisters, Lizzie Christian, Genny Cox, Hattie Butcher, Julie Ann Abbot Thompson, Linda Prichard, Nora Caldwell and Maggie Click.
Survivors include four sons, Vernon Ray Fultz of Frankfort, Paul Edward Fultz, Dewayne Fultz and Jimmy Fultz all of Morehead, six daughters, Nervil Brendt and Gladys Adkins both of Indianapolis, Indiana, May Fultz, Sue Dienes, Geneva Brown and Vera Clark all of Morehead, twenty-seven grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 28, 2010 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Elder F. T. Littleton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fultz Family Cemetery.
Visitation is after 3:00 P.M. Friday and after 11:00 A.M. Saturday.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
