OBITUARY,
Chris Schiefen, 81 of Hawarden, died Thursday at Hawarden nursing home.
Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Dow funeral home, in Hawarden.
With Rev. Ray Boyens officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 21, 1889 in Hawarden and was a lifelong resident.
Survivors are son Jim of Port Orchard, Washington; daughter Mrs. Milton
(Margaret) Meyer of Sioux City, Iowa; brother Louis Schiefen of Seattle and two grandchildren.
