View Jack's Arizona death certificate.
Jack died in Comstock Hospital of Tuberculosis. He was a truck driver by trade. Communication with a documented descendant of Perry, Jack's father, indicates that Jack had assumed his brother, Benjamin's, name when Jack came west. It is thought that perhaps he was a "scandalous" fellow and communication with others seems to support that supposition. Also it is family lore that Perry, Jack's father, was not a very nice person, either. At his death his wife, Elizabeth, told her children that under no circumstances was she to be buried in the same cemetery as her dead husband.
Note for First Name, Middle Name left by Deborah Simpson
Aka Benjamin Edward. John assumed his brother's identity.
