"MOTHER DAVISON DIES
The funeral of Mother Davison was held from the Mignon Baptist Church on Wednesday afternoon of last week. Interment was made in the Marble City Cemetery, with Rev. Mr. Newman and Rev. albert Branscomb officiating.
Mrs. Davison was the mother of Uncle Bill Davison of Sycamore, with whom she has made her home for a number of months preceding her death. Mrs. Davison was 89 years of age and has been an invalid for some years. the end was not unexpected.
Mother Davison was for some sixty-five years a member of the Baptist Church and all her family and friends speak of the consecrated life she lived. In spite of her long period of confinement she never grumbled or complained but bore her suffering with Christian fortitude. She is survived by a number of granschildren, great-grandchildren and one son and one daughter."
